A Page You Need to Like

Salam dear friends,

I figure out that it’ll be great if I started sharing with you pages that I really like on Facebook. These pages make me happy, give me lessons of life, and you need to like them.

So, the 1st page I’m going to talk about is the amazingly amazing:  Humans of New York .

Why I like it ??

This page is about people. It is an exhaustive catalogue of New York City’s inhabitants. It makes us know about other people, and their way of thinking. I really love how an ordinary person walking the street can have things to say that will change you in a beautiful way. It also makes you know about people from different ethnic groups: American, Arabs, Hispanics, African Americans… Different religions: Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhist… It talks about women, men, children, and more.

The guy behind the page named Brandon started in the summer of 2010 photographing New Yorkers, and plot their photos on a map. After that, he decided to collect quotes and short stories from the people he met, and began including these snippets alongside the photographs ( it’s awesome 🙂 )… The photos and quotes  became the subject of a vibrant blog.

The page promotes joy, peace, and love ❤ ❤ ❤

You need to like it cause it gives daily glimpses into the lives of strangers in New York City. It make people accept each other differences, and know those differences. You need to like it cause it gives lessons of life, great stories, and beautiful ideas.

Now, HONY became more amazing. The UN decided to help Brandon to start a tour, where he’s taking pictures of different people from different countries. 🙂

A lot of people already liked the page, and I love it. If you don’t, you have to 😉 😉 😉
