Humans of Morocco: Amine Mghari

Standard

Salam dear friends,

This is a new section of my blog, where I introduce to you Moroccan young people who have made me feel prouder to be a Moroccan.

hom

The first person whom I’m going to talk about is someone that really deserves our appreciation and encouragement. I don’t know him personally, and I’ve never met him before, but I really like what he’s doing 🙂

 amine

Today, I choose to talk about a young Moroccan man, whom I think you should all know… Amine Mghari is a talented, creative and adventurous Moroccan. He chose to leave the normal life, and start living a life full of adventures. He travels to different parts of the world making us discover new cultures and new ways of living.

I started watching his videos on his YouTube channel three months ago, and I love the whole thing. Amine tries everything. He tries new food, learn new words, start new way of living, and meet new people: new friends. I’m sure his experience made him learn so much about himself, other people, and the world.

What is really amazing is that he teaches other people more things about Morocco. He makes people from other countries say words in Arabic, know about the Moroccan culture, and be familiar with Arabs. He sends many strong messages through his videos.

When you see his videos, you just want to grab your bag, and do like him. I truly think that we need more people like him in Morocco.

I’m not going to say more things. I would really like to know this young man and ask him as many questions as possible ( maybe, someday)  But for the moment, I recommend to go and see his videos, subscribe his YouTube Channel, and like his page 😉 🙂 🙂

Amine Mghari, you made me feel happy, proud, and lively… Thank you dear Moroccan brother for what you’re doing 🙂

Inequality…Can we fight it ???

Standard

This is written by a dreamer, and a believer. I’m writing this because I truly believe that we are equal, we were born equal, and we can live equal.

ine

In mathematics, inequality means a relation that holds two values that are different. In real life, inequality means injustice, unfairness, and it is WRONG.

We see inequality in our daily life, in every day activity, and in every social interaction. Inequality exists between countries, cities, neighborhoods, and individuals. It exists between rich and poor; men and women. It is when the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. It controls our lives. Because of it, people can not get a job, healthcare, or even the same rights. It’s when we look at a woman, and say: she’s just a woman, she can’t do it, we won’t give her the job. It’s when we assume that certain people can’t do certain things because they belong to a certain category.

Inequality means to me what it means to every one of us: WRONG. It is when I continue studying, and another girl of my age can’t. It’s when I can go to the university, and someone can’t. It is when I can sleep, eat, and live while someone can’t. It’s when we ignore the areas of war and violence, and when we don’t consider people there as equal to you and I… It is when we don’t give people their rights. It’s when we give privilege to some humans while others suffer.

Did I ever meet inequality ?? Of course, I did. I see it everyday. In our schools, inequality welcomes you with open hands. In our streets, we see it in every wall. It is the leader in our hospitals, administrations, companies. It is there, always there. And why should it go away ?? we don’t want to let it go, and it’s there. We don’t make any effort to fight it, and it’s there. We don’t like it, but it’s there.

In today’s world, inequality becomes a fact. We unfortunately accept it, live with it, and convince others that we can’t fight it. But what I know is that we do have a choice, we can keep on pretending that it’s a fact, and ignore it, or we can change the whole situation. I choose to change it.

As humans, we were born equal. There is no difference between you and I. So, why we invent the differences ?? Why can’t we just live the way we supposed to live ?? Why we create those lies, and call them facts ??

being equal

Inequality is discrimination. It needs to be stopped. Of course, like any other contagious disease, it’s hard to stop it, but it’s possible… We can do it, if we really want to.

Know more about this here here… We can do it  🙂

To Our Countries…

Standard

Salam dear friends,

It’s been a long time since I shared with you my favorite videos. The ones I think you should watch, and share with other people; so they can watch and share them as well 😉

Anyway, this is one of the latest videos that I found on YouTube. It is a video created by a group of people who are living in Sweden, but are originally from different Arab countries.

I really like it, and I think you’ll like it as well.

This video is for all the countries that we love and feel a part of. This is for the countries that have been living in terrible conditions, and it’s for the people who lost their friends, and family.

We are sorry for not doing a thing to help you. We should say sorry for the sad mothers who have to live without their children. We have to say sorry for the innocent children who would not have the chance to live with their parents. We are sorry for not being there for you.

This video may not, and will not change the situation in Palestine, Syria, Iraq, or any other part of the world.. But, it’s a way to make you know that we know what’s going on there… We want you to know that we think about you every single day. And yes, we continue living our lives while you’re suffering, but we wish to see you living your life the way you want to. We want you to be happy.

When I was watching this video, I couldn’t stop crying… Powerful words, and beautiful Fairuz songs singing in a beautiful  way.

Many thanks to Rihan and Faia for making this video… Many thanks for the people who are spreading these kind of messages. 🙂

Talk to you soon Insha’ALLAH 😉
