Salam dear friends,

The past Sunday was the International Women’s Day, and I thought of sharing with you some of the brilliant women that you need to know about 🙂

One of these women is a young lady who inspires me in every possible way and I just love her.. I’m talking about the talented: Sarah Kay 🙂

It’s been weeks since I last watched her videos.. My friend reminds me of her today, and I thought I need to share with you and you need to watch her and know her 😉

I first found out about her 2 or 3 years ago, and looking into her bio, I have a lot of things in common with her.. I love that 🙂

To give more information about her, I took this from her Facebook page, and it’s lovely:

Sarah Kay is a New Yorker. a poetry writer and reader. a spoken word poetry teacher. the founder and co-director of Project V.O.I.C.E. with Phil Kaye. a witty banter enthusiast. a postcard lover. a documentary filmmaker. a foodie. a playwright. a singer. a songwriter. a photographer. a best-selling author of the book B. an editor for Write Bloody Publishing. a Gemini. a mediocre driver at best. a musical theater geek. a smoothie expert. the daughter of a Taoist mother and a Brooklynese father. a hapa. less cool than her little brother. an alum of the United Nations International School. an alum of Brown University. an alum of Brown University Graduate School’s Masters Program in the Art of Teaching Secondary English. a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Grinnell College.

How am I ???

Salam dear friends,

How are you ??

How am I?? Who am I ??

I have mixed feelings today.

You know those kind of days where you just don’t know yourself well, and you can’t know exactly how to feel…Well, today is exactly that for me 😦

This a different kind of posts… I wrote it without really thinking too much about the structure or spelling or even ideas, I’m writing this simply to share with you a state of mind, a part of my thoughts and LIFE 🙂

I began the morning by feeling strange, then very normal. I laughed a lot, then I had this sad expression on my face. I looked for something fun to do, but couldn’t find none.. I tried to do some homework, but couldn’t… I turned to the thing I like most: my books; I began reading, then I stopped for no particular reason. I cried for 15 minutes or more, then I was normal again. Now, I’m feeling tired. I’m tired physically, and emotionally.

I'm glad I was able to catch this moment :)

I thought this picture that I took last summer will fit here for some reason 🙂 🙂 🙂

Human personality is very complicated. We always have these mixed feelings, and we are OK with that.. Should we be OK with that ???

We always have mixed ideas, and we can’t just decide which one is the right one. I think that’s why we can’t make choices easily.

I want to say more, but I’ll just stop here.. If you too had the same kind of day, share it with me in the comments 🙂

A Movie To Watch…

Salam dear friends,

How are you ???

Today, I thought of starting a new thing… It’s Movies Time 😀

The movies I might share are not necessarily famous, but I love them and I think you should try to watch them as well 🙂

So, Which one I’m going to choose first ???

I wasn’t really sure that I’m going to like it, but I did 🙂

It’s a great Estonian comedy film directed by Toomas Hussar. The story is fascinating, crazy, and funny in an bizarre way… I love the movie for many good reasons 🙂

I hate to tell you about the whole story, but I’ll give just some small hints.. It’s about Aadu, a politician attempting to survive in a strange new media environment. He decides to go hunting for mushrooms with his wife Viivi, whom we hear her name quite frequently throughout the film, and in the way, she convinces him to give a lift to an awkward musician named Zak. After a while, the film has a kind of  an horror-flick mode. It’s a black comedy mixed with a political satire that I think you’ll like it 🙂

I watched this movie 2 years ago with my brother ( Thank you ❤ ) and one thing for sure, the whole audience really liked it 🙂 🙂 🙂

It’s crazy, funny, and worth watching ❤ 🙂 ❤

I love the way they composed the song… Enjoy 🙂

More lessons to share…

After sharing with you some major lessons that I have learned in 2013, I keep thinking of other useful lessons that maybe will change the way we live.

1)Be yourself

Don’t try to be somebody else. You are amazing, we all are amazing in one way or another… 😉 It’s up to us to see who we are and be proud of it. We have the right to be who we want to be… Be yourself, everyone else is already taken 😀

2)Don’t hate

I know, we don’t like to hate people, but sometimes people do things that make us dislike them. What we don’t know is that by doing that, we make ourselves sad, unhappy, and depressed. Try to be better.Try to avoid that, and try to be Happpppppppppppy 😀

3)Accept the other

When I say the other, I mean by that : your friend, your brother and sister, your neighbor, the people in other countries, the people who have different religion… Accept the way they think, live, behave, dress… Accept who they are so they can accept you. We can not talk about freedom if everyone of us decided to be in his tiny little closed world, isolated from everyone else just because everyone else is different. Remember: if we were all the same, the world will a boring place to live in. Our differences make the richness of the world.

These amazing lessons are for me and you, so we can try to change in one way or another… 🙂

Talk to you soon Insha’ ALLAH 🙂

In 2013, I have learned this…

2013 was a good year. I met a lot of wonderful people, I discover new parts of my personality and I learned many many lessons. Today, I want to share with you some of the lessons that I will try to adopt in 2014 Insha’ALLAH 🙂

1)– Change is always good

We don’t like to change, we try (sometimes) but we feel safe to be in the same place with the same people doing the same thing and thinking in the same way. Well, change is good, very good… Try to do it, try again and again. You will feel different but in a good way. What’s better is to make the people around change, it’s hard but it’s possible 😉

2)-Don’t be afraid

Fear is good sometimes; but when it keeps you from doing  what you love or anything else, it becomes dangerous.Don’t be afraid and even if you feel so, ask yourself: “What would you do if you weren’t afraid ??”.

3)– Look for possibilities

Possibilities are everywhere, just open your eyes and look. They give you new ways of living, thinking and acting… Possibilities do not limit you, They show you reasons to live and they make you discover who you truly are.

I have many other lessons that I will share with you soon Insha’ ALLAH 🙂

Happy new year to all of you 😉
